February 22, 2012 (Sydney, Australia) — Australian Government Attorney-General’s Department selects RecordPoint.
RecordPoint was selected for the provision of a records management system for SharePoint 2010 under Request For Tender 11/16646.
RecordPoint, along with solution partners Scinaptic OnePlaceMail (www.scinaptic.com) and Titus Metadata Security for SharePoint (www.titus.com), has been selected to enable compliance with AS ISO 15489 (information and documentation – records management) and ISO 16175 (ICA Guidelines and Functional Requirements for Electronic Records Management Systems), as issued and endorsed by the National Archives of Australia (www.naa.gov.au).
The selection of RecordPoint to enhance the governance and management of SharePoint will also support the Attorney-General’s digital transition journey.
About RecordPoint Software
RecordPoint was created to cost effectively fill the gaps in SharePoint that prevent it being used as a standards compliant, enterprise grade record keeping solution. RecordPoint addresses the local compliance challenge by leveraging and extending the native document and records management capabilities in Microsoft SharePoint to provide a 100% SharePoint solution that is built to meet global and local record keeping standards that were previously cost prohibitive or technically unfeasible.
