SYDNEY, February 25, 2013– RecordPoint has announced that it will be the first vendor globally to have SharePoint 2013 tested under any Recordkeeping certification program – the Victorian Electronic Recordkeeping Standard certification and testing program.
“Following the recent release to market of SharePoint 2013 (RTM), we are delighted to announce that we have begun to test SharePoint 2013 and the upcoming RecordPoint 2013 release against the VERS standard” said Elon Aizenstros, RecordPoint’s CEO.
Anthony Woodward, RecordPoint’s Chief Technology Officer said “RecordPoint sees VERS as an important certification standard against which to judge the compliance of our software to accepted record keeping standards. RecordPoint has ensured VERS certification for every release of RecordPoint since Microsoft released its first records capabilities in SharePoint 2007. Moving quickly to complete this testing for SharePoint 2013 immediately after release ensures our customers have choices about upgrading and means that they are not prevented from benefiting from the new features in 2013.”
