Updates to current releases

RecordPoint constantly strives to improve its products, and provides regular updates for them. To keep RecordPoint running smoothly, always upgrade to the latest release available. Please see below for the latest updates for your version of RecordPoint.

Please note you may already have the latest release. If you are unsure please contact support@recordpoint.com.au.

How to check your version number

To check the version number on your RecordPoint server go to:

1. Start -> Control Panel
2. Programs ->Program and Features
3. Scroll down to RecordPoint  and note version column

SharePoint 2010 version 3

The latest available release for this version is 3.1.101.0024. Release notes are available here (PDF)

SharePoint 2010 version 2

The latest available release for this version is 2.1.407.0025. Release notes are available here (PDF)

SharePoint 2007 version 2

The latest available release for this version is 2.0.407.0035. Release notes are available here (PDF)

Recommendation

RecordPoint recommends that customers apply the update at the earliest opportunity.

End of Life

SharePoint 2007 version 1

As previously notified, RecordPoint for SharePoint 2007 version 1 will be reaching the end of support on 29th February 2012. No further updates will be released and no defects will be rectified on this version.

Recommendation

It is recommended that any remaining customers on RecordPoint for SharePoint 2007 version 1 upgrade to the latest release of version 2.
