Introducing the Pulse of the Industry Report 2023
As the second edition in the annual series, the 2023 Pulse of the Industry Report acts as a measure of progress for the industry and a source of critical new insights based on new criteria.
The Pulse of the Industry Report 2023 is based on a survey conducted in May 2023 by RecordPoint in partnership with RIMPA, providing an industry-wide health check on RIMPA members and the organizations they support.
As well as comparing results with those from last year’s survey, we also focused this year on how members’ organizations have managed change in a time of ongoing data breaches and privacy challenges.
Multiple major data breaches of the last year, along with the ongoing review of Australia's Privacy Act, have placed increased pressure on organizations to manage customer data appropriately, which should have made records and information governance professionals more relevant.
But according to the results of the latest Pulse of the Industry Report, the industry is potentially not taking advantage of this opportunity.
